Leben in Deutschland free practice test
A new paper each time: 33 original questions in German, 30 on democracy, history and society and 3 on Bavaria, in 60 minutes.
- Practice material written for this site. It follows the current paper: 33 questions, four answers, one of them right, 60 minutes, one point each, nothing taken off for a wrong answer.
- Thirty questions cover the areas Living in a democracy, History and responsibility, and People and society. Three questions are about the Free State of Bavaria. On a sitting, those three follow the Land where the candidate lives. Baden-Württemberg, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hessen, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Saarland, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein and Thüringen each have their own state questions in the catalogue; they are not on this paper.
- The result uses the naturalisation threshold of 17 correct answers out of 33. The orientation course treats 15 correct answers as a pass. One result cannot apply both thresholds.
- The questions and the explanations are in German. The short English lines in the directions are only a guide to the timing.
